Once again, Governor Robert Bentley has hoodwinked Yellowhammer News and AL.com. This time, Bentley has deceived these two news organizations by providing them with a handful of sanitized text messages between Rebekah Caldwell Mason and himself in response to their separate Open Records requests for emails and text messages between the two lovers.

Like former Detroit mayor Kwame Kilpatrick, Bentley withheld the more embarrassing text messages about his illicit love affair with Rebekah from public disclosure. Of particular significance are the text messages where Bentley describes his true love for Rebekah, including a text message Bentley thought he was sending to Rebekah that he mistakenly sent to his former wife Dianne instead.

Yellowhammer bought into Bentley’s deception (by omission) regarding the text messages without hesitation or reservation. Al.com has not yet published a story about the governor’s text messages.

Fortunately, our Facebook news team was one step ahead of Bentley’s PR spin machine. Bentley and Rebekah may delete text messages from their cell phones (as most cheaters do), but they can never delete them from the permanent data servers of their cell phone carriers. A married Kwame Kilpatrick and his paramour (Christine Beatty) learned this painful lesson during their criminal trial for perjury. Both were convicted of perjury based upon the phone records from the permanent data servers.

Bentley has not perjured himself yet, but he is purposefully deceiving a skeptical public with his selective production of the text messages with his lover. It is not illegal for Bentley to lie to news organizations. Politicians like Bentley do it all of the time. It is, however, illegal for Bentley to lie to federal law enforcement agents about a material aspect of their investigation (e.g., using taxpayer funds and donor money to carry on an illicit love affair with his married paramour).

In the end, the Justice Department, using its nationwide subpoena powers, will have unfettered grand jury access to the full body of text messages between the governor and Rebekah. This is why Bentley remains silent regarding the nature and scope of his illicit love affair with Rebekah.

And ask me AGAIN why I don’t vote?!? As the late great George Carlin once mentioned, it’s MEANINGLESS! And when I saw I Kwame’s mug on your blog, I just fell out LMBO because he tried to appeal his 28-year stay in prison, and they just laughed at him! It’s just all-out corruption everywhere you go. Carlin had also observed that if (we) vote for these “dishonest, inept politicians who come in and screw everything up”, then we are responsible for the mess that they create. I’ll pass, thank you.

Only one thing that can fix this mess is God’s Kingdom that Jesus taught his followers to pray for. The very same kingdom prophesied in Daniel 2:44 that no man will run, or corrupt, and this kingdom will stand indefinitely…

And you would think that being both a public figure and servant, you’d know better than to cheat by way of cell phones. Big brother’s watching all of us!

    Sump’n to think about!
