Should Government Force You To Abort? To Give Birth? To Get Pregnant? Where Does It Stop?

Some rightfully believe/feel/think that government should NOT be making decisions for them and ask, “Do we really want government making decisions about our health care?” They are steadfastly convinced that they should make such important decisions for themselves.

I agree.

People should be free to make their own decisions in such matters. I don’t want the government, or someone else making decisions for me when I’m fully capable of making them for myself. That’s one HUGE reason why I support the Freedom of a woman’s Right To Choose. If you’re not pregnant, or a party to a pregnancy, it’s NOT your decision what to do. That Right belongs to someone else – not you.

Some decry others’ Rights – like Voting Rights for Women, Voting Rights for Blacks, Civil Rights for Blacks, Hispanics, Native Americans, etc. – but the interesting thing is… they had their say while others didn’t, and though they had their rights, they did NOT want anyone else to have Rights – the “I got mine, good luck with yours, because I won’t help you” syndrome. So, they fought like the Devil to keep others in subjection, to keep the balance of power UNEQUAL.

And when it comes to Religion, they try that too. If you don’t believe like they do, you’re going to Hell, or worse, they’ll reverse a law they don’t like, and send you to prison. Because that’s what Jesus would do. Besides, He was just a handout program feeding 5000 with 5 loaves of bread and a few fishes. Even people of the day said as much – that people were only following Jesus because they could get a free meal from Him.

Nice to know that the more things change, the more they remain the same.

Of course, the opposite is also true, which is this:
Would you or do you want the government to FORCE you to do something?

And as if refers to this matter, it is to FORCE a woman to give birth.

And the corollary is true as well. When it comes to government forcing people to do things, what if there was FORCED abortion… like there is in Communist China?

Just because you DO NOT like the decisions that other people make – whether it is anchovies on pizza, dill pickles with vanilla ice cream, oatmeal in coffee, orange juice with vinegar, or personal private decisions such as abortion – it is NOT your decision.
