After the Paris terrorist attacks of Friday, 13 November 2015, news media is awash in reports of seemingly innumerable variety. There is so much information, it’s almost like sifting sand or searching for a needle in a haystack to understand anything about the whys and wherefores of an evil international effort that has morphed into ISIS/ISIL/Daesh.

Unquestionably, what happened is evil, and inexcusable. And just like any other crime, prosecutors search for motivations.

“But why would they!?,” you may ask.

In a nutshell, it’s PsyOps (Psychological Operations) work to understand the basis for motivation, because to prevent further occurrences, one’s mind must be changed.

But without further ado, here’s an easy way to understand what has happened, which will form the foundation, and guide understanding on what is happening.

A Succinct Thought On Syrian Refugees

Regarding the matter of Sryian refugees, someone commented that, “It breaks my heart to see all the children that are refugees and it also breaks my heart to see all the kids in this country that go hungry and are homeless. Under the White House plan all 10,000 refugees Obama wants to bring in the country in the coming months and the 100,00 more he wants to bring eventually will receive housing and just under 2,000 dollars. Can you imagine what could happen if we took that money and made sure American kids and homeless were fed and housed. There is without a doubt more to this than meets the eye. It’s all part of the “change” plan we were promised. I’m as sympathetic as anyone when it comes to hurting people but when it comes to the possibility that a few of these people could cause my son and wife to live in a dangerous scary America call me any name you want but NO. May I add, it has nothing to do with religion but only people that want to kill and terrorize. I know many Muslims that do not want to kill but just want to be part of this great country. Until there is a fool proof way to assure that members of terror groups are not getting in with refugees then again, no.”

In response, someone remarked, “Amen. We should take care of our own first then help others.”

My thoughts follow.

Lola may not have realized it, but she mentioned the Scriptural principle which says, “Everyone should take care of all their own people. Most important, they should take care of their own family. If they do not do that, then they do not accept what we believe. They are worse than someone who does not even believe in God.” 1Tim5:8 (ERV)

Of course, one of Alabama’s most renown native sons, the late Hank Williams, put it this way: Read the rest of this entry »
