For the SECOND time, Johns Hopkins University’s COVID-19 “dashboard” has reported a total of U.S. COVID-19 related deaths which has surpassed the total of American deaths in World War I.

The dashboard data published today – June 16, 2020 – was reported to be “last updated at” 16 June 2020 at 4:56:18PM.

However… according to that same source – Johns Hopkins University’s COVID-19 dashboard – the last time America’s COVID-19 death toll surpassed the total number of American deaths in World War I was on June 8, when JHU’s COVID-19 dashboard claimed 116,933 American COVID-19 deaths.
