Only thing is, this “First Place award” is nothing to be proud of.
According to figures collected by the Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH), in conjunction with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), public health officials found that in 2020, for the FIRST TIME IN RECORDED HISTORY, more people DIED in Alabama of COVID-19, than were born in Alabama that same year.
Dr. Scott Harris, MD, State Health Officer made the announcement at a press conference September 17, 2021, and said in part, that “Our state literally shrunk.”
Dr. Harris pointed to preliminary statistics which show that 64,714 died last year in the Yellowhammer State, while only 57,641 were born there.
The practically exclusive culprit?
COVID-19.
The disease has ravaged the nation, particularly among politically conservative, and rural hold-outs, many who have steadfastly refused — for whatever false, or malign reason — to receive any of the the THREE FREE vaccines. Furthermore, those same individuals similarly steadfastly refuse to don nose/mouth coverings to protect themselves from others, or others from themselves, falsely claiming that their “freedoms” are at risk if they “take the jab,” or don the mask.
Nobody makes them wear condoms, either. Yet we know that condom use benefits public health by lowering rates of infection with sexually transmitted diseases, including HIV, among those whom are sexually active without benefit of a mutually monogamous partner.
Parents have “raised cane,” and pitched “hissy fits” in public places, threatening public officials — school board officials, and others — at public meetings of the schools boards. Some officials have required police protection from the fearsome crowds, some of whom have brandished weapons, including firearms, in their threats. The events have been verging upon being riotous, and not in a good way, which in some cases have become more than mere “civil disturbances.”
The excuses people conjure up to not get a FREE LIFE-SAVING VACCINE are as varied as people themselves. And ALL of them — WITHOUT EXCEPTION — are lies. ALL. OF. THEM.
It’s purely nonsense, and one of the worst public displays of ignorance that one could possibly imagine. And yet, the more ignorant they are, the louder they holler. It certainly seems to be Read the rest of this entry »

A gun in every pocket.
Not a chicken in every pot.
No pot there, either.
Not even medical.
The state wants people to kill each other.
But not in the womb.
That’d be wrong.
Shooting people to kill them, is A-OK.
Shooting pregnant women is not.
Might harm the unborn, you know.
Tennessee’s Republican Governor Bill Lee has signed NRA-written legislation that allows any adult aged 21, or older, to carry a handgun either openly, or concealed without any special training, education, or permit. Active duty Military Service Members aged 18 to 21 are excepted.
Tennessee’s Law Enforcement Agencies throughout the state, including the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, have told the Governor that they thought his idea was poor policy, but he ignored them, and signed into law a bill that removes restrictions on carrying firearms, either concealed, or openly.
Despite law enforcement’s opposition to his legislation that would end gun permits in Tennessee, Governor Bill Lee told a gathering from the National Rifle Association that his legislation would “make Tennessee safer.” However, he failed to mention how it would.
A spokesman for the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation told a Senate committee, “The bureau has been consistent [in opposition] on this from a public safety standpoint.” The TBI and Tennessee Sheriff’s Association oppose eliminating requirements for concealed carry gun permits.
Governor Lee’s Press Secretary Casey Black said, “The ‘Constitutional Carry’ legislation is a key priority in the governor’s public safety package, which is focused on protecting law-abiding Tennesseans’ Second Amendment rights, while also significantly increasing penalties for criminals who steal firearms.”
Advocates point to permitless carry which is often misnomered as Read the rest of this entry »

For the SECOND time, Johns Hopkins University’s COVID-19 “dashboard” has reported a total of U.S. COVID-19 related deaths which has surpassed the total of American deaths in World War I.

Screen shot of the Johns Hopkins COVID-19 dashboard made June 16, 2020 at 5:44:47 PM Central Time, which shows 116,788 COVID-19 deaths in the United States.
The dashboard data published today – June 16, 2020 – was reported to be “last updated at” 16 June 2020 at 4:56:18PM.
The screenshot of today’s report showing 116,788 American COVID-19 deaths was made 5:44:47 PM Central Time.
However… according to that same source – Johns Hopkins University’s COVID-19 dashboard – the last time America’s COVID-19 death toll surpassed the total number of American deaths in World War I was on June 8, when JHU’s COVID-19 dashboard claimed 116,933 American COVID-19 deaths.

Screenshot of Johns Hopkins University’s COVID-19 dashboard June 8, 2020 made at 11:14:19 AM CT showing 116,993 American COVID-19 deaths.
That screen shot, which was made June 8, 2020 at 11:14:19 AM Central Time, indicated that Read the rest of this entry »

The caption at the bottom of the image, which is in Latin, is translated as: “When you become heaps, a sort of man, why do not you reject mortal things; Death is a common obligation to all fate. “What does it profit a man if hurt, one hundred centuries; When we die we think life has passed like the wind.” The banner is translated as: For you know neither day, nor the hour at” and cites the reference from the Biblical book of Matthew, chapter 25 verse 13 which states “Therefore watch, for you do not know the day, nor the hour.” The top translates as “thou come hither, anyone who in the world is visible to the whole.”
6,002.
That’s how many more COVID-19 deaths we’ll need in America before we equal the number of American deaths in WWI – 116,516.
Only 6,002 more to go.
Today, we started off with 109,846 COVID-19 deaths in America.
Tonight, we finish with 110,514.
That’s a difference of 668, or a 0.6081% increase, in the stretch of a 12-hour period.
If we continue at that rate, we’ll be there, and quite possibly surpass the mark, in 9 days, on June 16.
That’s just a mere 216 hours from now.
And, it’s but a Read the rest of this entry »

According to CDC data compiled by Johns Hopkins, 100,396, to be exact.
As of 5/27/2020, 7:32:29 PM, there are 100,411 COVID-19 deaths in America.
And sadly, as I had predicted on May 24, it’ll only be a matter of time before we have…
MORE COVID-19 Deaths than all deaths in WWI – 116,516.
Last week, we eclipsed all deaths from the Korean and Vietnam Wars combined.
We are in a very Public Health war.
And so far, testing continues to lag with only 4.6037% of the entire American public tested – 15,192,481.
Meanwhile, South Korea, New Zealand, Taiwan, Vietnam – along with their economies – are returning to normal with no new cases reported, while stupid Americans cry, whine, moan, groan, gripe, bitch, and complain about not being able to get haircuts, their nails done, eat out, or go to the gym.

Thus far, 1,354,664 American lives have been lost in the total 78 armed conflicts in our nation’s 244 year history.
That averages out to very nearly 5,552 per year.
In the past 127 days since COVID-19 disease was discovered to have invaded our nation on January 20 this year, over 97,811 deaths – that we now know of – have occurred.
Again, using averages, that averages out to be Read the rest of this entry »

American COVID-19 Deaths
WILL SURPASS
the
TOTAL Number of Deaths
in the
Vietnam and Korean Wars
COMBINED.
33,686 + 47,424 =81,110
81,110 – 68,387 = 12,723
Remember those numbers.
What are they?
The first figure – 33,686 – represents the number of deaths in the Korean War.
The second figure – 47,424 – represents the number of deaths in the Vietnam War.
The third figure is the sum (total) of the two numbers.
The fourth figure – 68,387 – represents the number of COVID-19 deaths in the United States, as of 0450 UTC (Universal Coordinated Time), Monday, 4 May 2020.
The fifth figure – 12,723 – represents the difference between the current number of COVID-19 American Deaths and the Total number of Deaths in the Korean and Vietnam Wars combined.
Sadly, that fifth figure WILL surpass the the third figure in a matter of days.
Already, the TOTAL number of American COVID-19 deaths has SURPASSED the number of deaths in Vietnam (47,424), Iraq (3836), Afghanistan (1833), Gulf War (149), and the Beirut Deployment (256) COMBINED – 53,498.
But here’s the sad, startling fact:
This has all happened in the space of a couple months – since 20 January – a mere 106 days. On the other hand, those wars lasted far, far longer.
So, you tell me Read the rest of this entry »

The pandemic (meaning, “the worldwide spread of a new disease”) is now upon us with COVID-19 coronavirus.
While there are particularly worrisome aspects of this disease, one of the most overlooked aspects of it is that someone can be a carrier without showing any signs, or symptoms of infection, or disease.
In other words, folks are (not “can be,” but ARE) spreading the disease WITHOUT KNOWING IT.
So, why don’t they know they have it?
First, they’re asymptomatic – that’s medical jargon meaning “they don’t show signs of symptoms of having the disease.”
Second, they’ve NOT been tested. (And, I put the blame for that problem squarely upon Trump, because he gutted the National Security Council and White House infrastructures which would handle such crises.
In numerous articles published as far back as 2017, from a wide variety of sources, it’s broadly acknowledged that Read the rest of this entry »

GET READY!
Coronavirus is very likely coming to your town!
Dr. Nancy Messonnier, MD, is the Director of the Center for the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases (NCIRD) of the CDC, held a press conference about coronavirus February 3, 2020, and said in part, that,
“We expect we will see community spread in this country.
It’s not so much a question of if this will happen any more, but the rather more correct question to be asking is, ‘When this will happen and how many people in this country will have severe illness?’“
Coronavirus/COVID19 deaths = 2700 (and counting)

Dr. Nancy Messonnier, MD, is the Director of the Center for the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases (NCIRD) at the CDC.
SARS deaths = 774 (per CDC)
MERS deaths = 858 (per WHO)
SARS+MERS = 1632
Remember when Trump said, “We have it totally under control. It’s one person coming in from China, and we have it under control. It’s going to be fine.”?
He also said, “We do have a plan, and we think it’s going to be handled very well. I think China’s in very good shape also.”
He was at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland January 22, 2020, and was interviewed by Joe Kernen of NBC’s Squawk Box program when he said “we have it totally under control.”
He said further that, “We do have a plan and we think it is going to be handled very well. We’ve already handled it very well. The CDC is terrific. Very professional.”
He later said to reporters that, “we do have a plan… China’s in very good shape also” before a meeting with Nechirvan Barzani, President of the Kurdistan Regional Government, also while in Davos.
An increase from 1 to 53 is a 5200% INCREASE.
Would you say that’s “totally under control,” or not?
Here’s the verbatim transcript of pertinent portion of the Squawk Box interview:
JOE KERNEN: It was a couple of years ago. Before we get started– with- we’re going talk about the economy and a lot of other things–the CDC– has Read the rest of this entry »

Within a period of 7 days, 35 people were killed, and 64 were injured in 3 mass shootings in our nation.
July 28, 2019 – 5:48 PM PDT Garlic Festival – Gilroy, CA – 3 Killed, 13 Injured
August 3, 2019 – 10:39 AM CDT Wal-Mart – El Paso, TX – 22 Killed, 24 Injured
August 4, 2019 – 1:05 AM EDT – Historic Oregon District, Downtown Dayton, OH – 10 Killed, 27 Injured
Authorities have identified the assailants and weapons used. In each case, the weapons used were military-grade assault style rifles designed for military use, modeled after the Russian AK-47, and the American AR-15. The exclusive purpose of such firearms as weapons of mass destruction is to kill human beings with great ease, and efficiency – to inflict as much carnage and damage upon as many people as possible, in a short period of time. They are ONLY weapons of war, and nothing else. They were NOT designed for any other purpose than to kill human beings with great ease, and efficiency.
The assailants were:
• Connor Stephen Betts, 24, of Bellbrook, OH (Dayton) – deceased;
• Santino William Legan, 19, of Gilroy, CA and Walker Lake, NV (Gilroy) – deceased, and;
• Patrick Wood Crusius, 21, of Allen, TX (El Paso) – captured.
In none of those cases neither “a good guy with a gun,” nor a border wall was effective to either deter, prevent, or stop the deaths and injuries of 127 people.
But those three tragedies were not the only ones.

Ohio’s Republican Governor Mike Dewine addresses Ohioans about the Dayton mass shooting.
Just today – August 5, 2019 – in Brooklyn, the most populous borough in NYC, there was a mass shooting at 216 Buffalo Avenue where 4 people were injured, with no deaths in which “Police confirm a man was shot in the chest, and two women have also been found with gunshots wounds.”
-and-
A shooting with 4 injuries occurred at 5691 Suitland Road, in Suitland, MD.
Yesterday, there were FOUR mass shootings at:
1800 S Kildare Ave in Chicago, one killed, and 7 wounded;
443 E Shelby Dr in Memphis, one killed, 3 wounded;
2900 block of W Roosevelt Rd in Chicago, 7 wounded;
419 E 5th St in Dayton, OH, 10 killed, 26 wounded.
On July 28, the date of the Gilroy, CA Garlic Festival shooting, there were a total of SIX mass shootings throughout the nation.
In the days since, there have been 15 mass shootings, inclusive, in which 47 people were killed, with 115 injured. For details, see: https://www.GunViolenceArchive.org/reports/mass-shooting
According to data from the Gun Violence Archive website, this year to date, there have been 255 mass shootings, resulting in 275 deaths, and 1069 injuries.
No one is happy about this.
No one.

If you’re presently taking the “blood thinner” medications in this news item, it may be in the best interest of your health, and life, to reconsider and stay with warfarin/coumadin.
At least with warfarin/coumadin, we have an antidote, and it has far fewer risks associated with it.
In short, it has evidence for greater safety.
Here’s the long & short of it:
Deaths associated with Warfarin/Coumadin in 2011 = 72
Deaths associated with Praxaxa in 2011 = 542
There was NO OTHER MEDICINE with such a high rate of death associated with death.
Annual Cost of Medicine: Pradaxa & Xarelto = $3,000
Annual Cost of Medicine: Coumadin/Warfarin = $200
You do the math.

Insight: Top heart doctors fret over new blood thinners
By Ransdell Pierson
NEW YORK | Thu Jun 14, 2012 1:37pm EDT
(Reuters) – For millions of heart patients, a pair of new blood thinners have been heralded as the first replacements in 60 years for warfarin, a pill whose hardships and risks have deterred many from using the stroke-prevention medicine.

A sign is seen at the entrance of an anti-coagulation clinic at the Staten Island University Hospital in Staten Island, New York May 7, 2012. But growing complaints of risks and deaths tied to the new crop of drugs have made some top U.S. cardiologists hesitant to prescribe them. Some are proposing a more rigorous monitoring regimen for when they are used.
Most concerns revolve around Pradaxa, a twice daily pill from Boehringer Ingelheim that was approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in October 2010 to prevent strokes in patients with an irregular heartbeat called atrial fibrillation. It was the first new oral treatment for that use since warfarin was introduced in the 1950s.
“The good news is you now have an alternative to warfarin,” said Dr. Alan Jacobson, director of anti-coagulation services at the Veterans Administration (VA) healthcare system in Loma Linda, California. “The bad news is you can kill a patient as easily with the new drug as you could with the old drug” if it is not handled properly.
“The average patient doesn’t understand anything Read the rest of this entry »
