Idiots abound.
They can be found everywhere. And lately, they’ve been popping up as radicalized right-wing nut jobs.
Remember a dude named “Cliven Bundy”?
He’s the asshole from Nevada who owed the United States government tons of money in back-owed grazing fees and in 2014 instigated an armed standoff with Federal agents and other Federal Law Enforcement Authorities in Bunkerville, Nevada where he resided, who sought his detention over his passive-aggressive response to the matter… along with his failure to pay the Bureau of Land Management the contractually agreed-upon fees for the privilege of allowing his cattle to graze upon BLM land.

Cliven Bundy
He had been illegally grazing his cattle herd on public land since 1993.
Later, he was arrested by the FBI at the Portland International Airport while he was on his way to the Malheur fracas. He had become a patsy for the right-wing extremist movement because of Fox News incessant telecasting of the matters surrounding him, and his movements.
Yeah… THAT’s the Bundy we’re talking about. Apparently, he’s no relation to the mass murderer Ted Bundy, or of the fictional teevee character “Al Bundy” of “Married… with Children.” Though, he could be.
Turned out, he’s at least two bricks shy of a load, as well, and made this incredibly racist, bigoted remark at one of is daily “press conferences” whih was picked up by the New York Times.
Mr. Bundy recollected once driving past a public-housing project in North Las Vegas several years ago and at the “press conference” said:
“I want to tell you one more thing I know about the Negro… and in front of that government house the door was usually open and the older people and the kids — and there is always at least a half a dozen people sitting on the porch — they didn’t have nothing to do. They didn’t have nothing for their kids to do. They didn’t have nothing for their young girls to do. And because they were basically on government subsidy, so now what do they do? They abort their young children, they put their young men in jail, because they never learned how to pick cotton. And I’ve often wondered, are they better off as slaves, picking cotton and having a family life and doing things, or are they better off under government subsidy? They didn’t get no more freedom. They got less freedom.”
Bundy has a stable of kids, 14 in fact, all of whom are adults. The eldest is a son named Ammon. He’s an asshole just like his father. The apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree, you know.

Ammon Bundy
Seems that Ammon has gotten himself into more trouble.
Naturally, he’s a Read the rest of this entry »

Be very wary of an attorney who says these type things about his client:
“Will is young and is learning some hard lessons. But he’s a very convicted man. He’s very convicted in his faith and he’s very convicted in his character. He’s very convicted in his heritage. And Will’s not a person who’s going to shy away from the tough questions to satisfy folks. And that upsets a lot of people. And I understand that. Especially in these times.
“But Will’s not going to admit to something he didn’t do. And he’s not going to step down from a position that he was elected to that he’s trying to do a good job at just because someone has pointed the finger and tried to make him out to be a bad guy. He’s a fighter. I’d be surprised if he resigns.”
Learning hard lessons…
Convicted – 4 times!…
Heritage – especially if you’re aligned with a White Supremacist group…
Resigns…
When your own attorney uses those words in response to the charges, you gotta’ KNOW that it prolly won’t go well.
So already, things don’t look good for Will Dismukes.

A since-deleted Facebook social media post by Will Dismukes, a White Republican member of the Alabama State House of Representatives, State House District 88, who was at the time, also a Baptist pastor of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Prattville. Dismukes resigned after 3 days of outcry following discovery of this since-deleted social media post. “Fort Dixie” is the Selma, Alabama, home of Patricia Godwin, a woman with deep ties to the neo-Confederate cause and organized hate.

USA Today, ever the paragon of journalistic integrity (hardly), has reported on a young man and woman who were arrested around 11:30PM ET in Nassau County, FL for DUI.
The problem began while they were riding their bicycles.
According to Jordan Culver, writer of the article, an unnamed “Nassau County Sheriff’s Office deputy saw Megan Mondanaro, 35, and Aaron Seth Thomas, 31, riding bikes without lights on around 11:30 p.m. Friday in Fernandina Beach.”
According to the article published September 17, 2019, 6:49PM ET, “Both riders cut into the middle of the road and were nearly hit by a car, which led the deputy to conduct a traffic stop, according to the [Deputy’s] report.”
In the report, the Deputy wrote that when the pair was stopped, he “detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from both of them.”
The news story stated that the Deputy “also noted Mondanaro and Thomas both had bloodshot and watery eyes and were slurring their words.”
The story then states that the two were “arrested on DUI charges and placed in the back of the deputy’s patrol car.”
The arresting Deputy then searched Mr. Thomas’ backpack and found 7 full cans, and 1 empty can, of the alcoholic malt beverage “Four Loko.”
The arresting officer’s report then stated in part that, “While I was outside my patrol vehicle, Megan and Aaron took their clothes off and Read the rest of this entry »

It’s NOT mere “courtesy,”
IT’S THE LAW!
I was run off the road while riding my 10-speed bicycle.
It happened in a residential part of town, very near home, and upon one of the widest roads in town…
Capable of 4 lanes of 2-way traffic, with parallel parking along both sides, the road also ran adjacent the football stadium & high school.
I loved to ride my bicycle, and would do so almost daily, for at least five miles. And that was long before the song “Bicycle” by Queen was popularized. In fact, it was upon a “road bike” much like the ones seen in the video below.
Recollecting that Read the rest of this entry »

Baby in Phoenix road left on car roof; mom arrested
by Sonu Munshi – Jun. 2, 2012 01:56 PM
The Republic | azcentral.com
A 19-year-old mother is under arrest on child abuse and aggravated DUI charges after police say she left her five-week-old baby strapped in a car seat on top of her 2000 Ford Focus and drove off.

Loser of the Week: 19 year-old Catalina Clouser, pictured here in this booking photo by the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office (AZ), was stoned on marijuana and left her baby on the roof of her car, then drove off. Authorities found the baby in the road.
The child is said to be in good condition and now in custody of Arizona Child Protective Services.
At about 1 a.m. Saturday, Phoenix police officers got calls from the 45th Avenue and Cholla area, just south of Cactus Road, that a baby was in a car seat in the middle of a road.
Phoenix Fire Department officials found the baby and Read the rest of this entry »

Having been working on the idea for this entry for several weeks now, it seems that with the tragic death of young Trayvon Martin in Florida, it now seems the right time to publish it.
It’s a crying shame that nearly 150 years after our nation’s Civil War, that we are still talking about race relations.
Why do these problems exist?
Department of Justice statistics indicate that for the year 2005, approximately 10,000 Blacks were arrested for All Crimes. That same year, a little over 4,000 Whites were arrested for All Crimes.
According to the US Census Bureau, as of 2012, in the USA, Blacks comprise approximately 12.6% of the population, Whites comprise 72.4%.
The figures for population and arrest have not changed significantly since 2005.
The data would seem to suggest that Blacks are significantly more criminally inclined than Whites.
But, that’s not so.
Blacks are NOT more criminally inclined than Whites.
Ethnicity is neither a predictor nor determiner of criminal intent nor propensity toward crime. More pointedly, one’s skin color has nothing to do with crime.
In fact, it would seem that Read the rest of this entry »
