Alabama Secretary of State John Merrill Caught With Pants Down

Looks like John let the little head do the thinking for the big head.

He also likes anal sex – something his wife apparently doesn’t give him.

Yes… it’s true:

Alabama Secretary of State John Merrill has been caught red-handed in an extra-marital relationship, much to the chagrin of his cult-like followers who were hoping he would campaign for the soon-to-be-vacated U.S. Senate seat held by almost-nonagenarian Democrat-turned-Republican-since-1994 Richard Shelby (b.1934), who has occupied the office since 1986, which is up for grabs in 2022.

“He was such an idiot. And he would talk, just… I don’t know if you ever met him outside of looking like he’s a professional, he’s a total [sic] different person. He’s sometimes funny, and he’s charismatic, and he has a sense of humor… but then, when the real John Merrill stands up, then you’re kinda’ like ‘uggh.'”

Of note, the nonpartisan Congressional Research Service on December 17, 2020 updated their report “Membership of the 116th Congress: A Profile” which found that the average age of the average Senator was 62.9 years, while the average age of the Members of the House of Representatives was 57.6. At the time of the report, there were only 3 African American Senators – Kamala Harris, D-CA Corey Booker, D-NJ, and Tim Scott, R-SC. Since Kamala Harris is now Vice President, there are now only 2 African American Senators. And, the oldest Senator in the 116th Congress was Dianne Feinstein, D-CA, born June 22, 1933, who was then aged 85.

Merrill’s official statement said that, “With the end of my term coming up in January of 2023, I have been presented with a variety of options for where my path in public service could lead. I have decided that I will not be a candidate for any office in 2022.”

In a confession to the Advance Local Media LLC-owned AL dot com news group, John Merrill said further that,

“I will obviously not be a candidate for the United States Senate nor will I be seeking any other elected position in 2022, because I think it’s important to me to make sure that I become the man that I have been before and that I am working to put myself in the position to be the leader that I have been before, as a husband, as a father, as a friend and as an elected official.”

In typical fashion, Merrill accused a 44-year-old female legal assistant, Cesaire McPherson, of “stalking” and “harassing” him, and denied having an extra-marital sexual relationship with her.

For her part – who is the other party in the relationship – Ms. McPherson issued a statement and recording which in part stated that, “I don’t want to say anything other than here’s the proof that John Merrill is a liar. Here’s the true John Merrill.”

McPherson provided to the statewide media outlet a recording of an October 2020 conversation between herself and the Republican Secretary of State. In the 17-minute recording, John Merrill and Ms. McPherson discuss various sexual acts they performed during dozens of romantic encounters that McPherson said occurred between November 2017 and November 2020.

“He doesn’t want to look bad to people. He doesn’t want to look bad to his mom. He doesn’t want to look bad to her parents that are still alive. He doesn’t want to look bad to his children. Um… you know, his sister – the whole state of Alabama. You know, it looks good for him to be a supposed Christian, church-going husband and father that does nothing wrong. And I said that, ‘that is exactly who you are not.’ So the state of Alabama only knows a facade that you allow them to think that you are – but you’re not. You’re nothing like that. You’re really a superficial freak that just wants everything, and want everything that somebody else has, until you don’t want it anymore. And, I mean, he just wants you to think that he’s god, is what the truth is, and he’s not.”

During the conversation, according to AL dot com, John Merrill used language in what appeared to be an attempt to end his relationship with Ms. McPherson, who was reluctant to discontinue the relationship. Mr. Merrill told her they had “met for the last time,” and that he was “seeking help from the Lord” to stay away from her.

However, in her interview with National File she said in part that, “In November of ’19, I tried to end it, and he said ‘no’ that he wasn’t ready, and he wasn’t done, and [that] I wasn’t going to be done with him because that’s not the way it works, and [he] was like, well ‘I’m about to go up to the Supreme Court, and I don’t need you following me,’ so we kept it quiet – which I thought it was quiet, but people, when they see us around each other, they just start… people started asking questions, “you sure John Merrill never tried to come on to you? Because you look really hot…”

When confronted with the evidence today (Wednesday, 7 April 2021), Mr. Merrill, who is married with two children, said “there’s no excuse” for his extramarital relationship.

He said further that, “It’s clear that I had an inappropriate relationship with her, and it is not something that I am proud of or something that is something that — I’m very disappointed in myself. I’m also disappointed that I allowed my family to be embarrassed by this action. And it’s something that I certainly will always regret because of the pain that it has caused my family.”

He continued by saying that, “I hope someone can use me as an example of how they have the opportunity to accomplish things, but because of poor choices and poor decisions in things, it can result in a negative impact for a lot of people that you did not intend to impact. That’s because I exercised poor choices and poor discipline. Maybe some good can come out of this for somebody else.”

“The other thing is, he might act like he likes Black people, but he’s REALLY RACIST – real bad racist.

[He would say things like]‘The colored folks,’ [that] he was loved by ‘all the coloreds.’ … ’And they go around thinking everything is supposed to be theirs, and given to them, and all this and that… [that] the Black people should be appreciative.’

…and especially from these little-bitty towns where he said that’s where he gets his most votes from – you know, it was from ‘the colored folk.’

He’s just a piece of shit person, all around, altogether.”

The news of the affair between the two consenting adults was first made public on the website National File which headlined (cough, cough) the story as “EXCLUSIVE: Alabama Senate Contender Had Extramarital Affair, Exchanged Sexts About Anal Play – Ex Lover” – “I didn’t strap anything on but I did have a butt plug. But yeah, he liked stuff up his ass, yeah.”

Ms. McPherson also stated that she and Alabama Republican Secretary of State John Merrill had sex in his bed at his home.

She also said that Secretary of State John Merrill used his state government vehicle to visit her home and used his official state government phone to send sexually-oriented text messages to her.

But most disconcerting is the revelation that McPherson was physically abused by Merrill which left marks upon her body.

One of the many questions that are naturally raised, are of the use of state government-owned property in the furtherance of the relationship.

While the relationship itself is not illegal, to use state resources to promote and conduct it is contrary to law. But will the Republican State Attorney General Steve Marshall investigate the matter, or not?
