Trump’s Presidency A Failure, And The GOP Age Is Over

“He’s left a ballooning debt, and deficit.
He’s left a hollowed-out government
with
positions unfilled,
a diplomatic corps that’s
lost morale,
an intelligence agency that
has been torn apart
with
how it can advise the President. He’s left a wake of destruction behind him.
That is his legacy.”
–– V. Kim Hoggard, high-level official, Reagan & GHW Bush administrations, on POTUS Donald John Trump
If the GOP suffers – and they will – blame Trump.
If the GOP suffers – and they will – blame the GOP.
There’s plenty of blame to go around.
The GOP could have decertified him, and thereby could have prevented him from advancing… but, they did not.
The GOP really doesn’t care for you, or for America.
They only care for their BIG BUSINESS interests and BIG MONEY donors.
And to be certain, there are some Democrats like that – Hillary among them. But those old dinosaurs are dying off politically – thank goodness – and there’s a NEW BREED of Progressive Democrats who’ve returned to their roots by putting The People’s interests FIRST, and challenging the BIG MONEY Democrats and GOPers.
Now, in this era, and in this age, we are seeing history repeat itself with the GOP pulling out all stops to disenfranchise voters by whatever means possible – especially, and particularly Black, and Hispanic voters – and to screw over voters as much as the possibly can.
In Florida, voters OVERWHELMINGLY voted to permit former felons who had served their sentences to be re-enfranchised to the right to vote. But, the GOP-dominated State Legislature came around, and f***ed over the voters, and the former felons, by LITERALLY passing a law that AGAIN denied them the right to vote by requiring that they pay all fines and penalties associated with the case BEFORE having that right restored.
In Mississippi, voters in that state used an initiative measure process, and obtained over 280,000 signatures to place on the ballot a question whether or not state residents wanted an “opportunity to try” to help relieve their sufferings from disease and ailments by passing a Medical Marijuana initiative. The GOP-dominated state legislature immediately cobbled together a hollowed-out shell of a nothing bill with no provisions, no time frame, no details of any kind, to deliberately confuse and compete with, and thereby hopefully defeat the measure.
It’s time to take the garbage out.
Remember in November.
