We Need Prayer Back In Schools!

“We need prayer back in schools!,” said someone.

“Okay,” I said. “Whose prayer do you want? The Episcopalians? The Baptists? The Methodists? Church of Christ? What about the Jehovah’s Witnesses? Or the Seventh Day Adventists? Do you want the Primitive Baptists, or the Free Will Baptists?

“How about the Latter Day Saints? Do you want the prayers of the Quakers, or the Amish? Or would you prefer the Mennonites? Would Presbyterian prayer be okay? How about Lutheran prayer?

“Would Church of God, or Assembly of God be acceptable? How about the prayers of the Anglican Church? Would Unitarian prayer be okay? What about Catholic prayer? Or the Nazarenes… are their prayers okay?

“Would Shakers prayer be acceptable?

“If you want the Church of God, do you want the Church of God by Faith, the Church of God (Charleston, Tennessee), the Church of God (Chattanooga), the Church of God (Cleveland, Tennessee), The Church of God for All Nations, the Church of God (Full Gospel) in India, Church of God, House of Prayer, Church of God (Huntsville, Alabama), Church of God in Christ, The Church of God (Jerusalem Acres), Church of God Mountain Assembly, Church of God of Prophecy, Church of God of the Original Mountain Assembly, Church of God of the Union Assembly, or the Church of God with Signs Following?”
