Robert Bentley Update
by Donald Watkins, Monday, 16 November 2015 8:30PM CST
Our report for the U.S. Department of Justice on Alabama Governor Robert Bentley’s criminal conduct in office has been written. The report, which grew out of our Facebook news team’s special series of investigative articles titled “Forbidden Love” and “Executive Betrayal“, is undergoing a review by our editors and legal team. The report is tentatively scheduled to be delivered to the Justice Department on December 1, 2015.
I am very appreciative to all of the individuals who contributed to this report, particularly those persons who worked within Governor Bentley’s inner circle and who did not condone his criminal behavior. I salute your courage and conviction for doing the right thing by exposing the Governor’s criminal conduct.
To Montgomery U.S. Attorney George Beck and Alabama Attorney General Luther Strange,

George L. Beck Jr. was nominated by President Obama March 31, 2011, and sworn in as the United States Attorney for the Middle District of Alabama July 6, 2011. He was previously the State of Alabama Deputy Attorney General eight years, Judge Advocate General for the Corps of Alabama Army National Guard 30+ years, and retired at the rank of Colonel.
I cannot express my disappointment in words strong enough to convey just how weak, compromised, and disgraceful both of you are as so-called “prosecutors”. The two of you are an embarrassment to yourselves and the people of Alabama. Ordinary citizens should not have to spend months investigating Robert Bentley’s criminal conduct and then spend additional time preparing a lengthy prosecution memorandum when the taxpayers of Alabama and America pay your salaries to perform these very tasks.
Stay tuned.
