How Radical Has The GOP Become? Listen To Mike Huckabee To Know.

Posted by Warm Southern Breeze on Friday, July 31, 2015

Having read that Mike Huckabee made a veiled remark suggesting that he would “send the FBI or the National Guard to close down abortion clinics” (specifically, he said “We’ll see when I’m president” in response to the question), it didn’t surprise me one iota.

I’ve warned that those folk – the GOP – are radicals, and are Hell-bent upon transforming our beloved nation into their warped version of a “free market” state. We’ve already entered into the beginning phase of Gilded Age v2.0 with the advent of Ronald Reagan, because it was during his two-term tenure that the seeds of these ideas were sewn.

As one type evidence, note that alternative energies, solar, etc., were ousted from official White House consideration. Witness that he had the solar hot water heating panels and collectors removed from the White House. Had we doubled down on recycling, and other forms of energy – wind, geothermal, etc. – we would be LIGHT YEARS ahead of where we are now with respect for our energy independence.

Another type of evidence was the successful repeal of the Glass-Steagall Act, which was originally enacted post Great Depression, and secured our financial markets from the inevitable meltdown which occurred shortly after its repeal during the Clinton administration.

Bear in mind, that the “free market” folks (typically with a Libertarian bent, such as Ron & Rand Paul, et al), can’t point to any demonstrative data that conclusively proves their points, which are that:
1.) Taxes are wicked;
2.) Big business is good;
3.) The wealthy are “job creators” out of their own internal sense of noblesse oblige;
4.) Government is evil;
5.) Every governmental service should be privatized to for-profit industry;
6.) Laws protecting “the least of these My brethren” should be overturned and the monies shoveled into Wall Street-traded funds;
7.) Their version of equality under the law is that “All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others.”

The Libertarian Mises Institute in Auburn, Alabama (and Lew Rockwell) are part and parcel of that transformative anti-American push, and if you’ve read deep enough (or between the lines), you’ll find that their writings are unashamedly anarchist, and that they – by hook, or by crook – seek to overthrow our form of government. They are, in my estimation, enemies of freedom, and the equivalent of domestic terrorists, whom are destroying America from within by and through the promulgation of their theoretical, ivory-towered ideologies, none of which have ever been shown to work anywhere.

So, to read the radical remarks hinted at by Huckabee is no surprise to me. The radicalized arm of the GOP are literally, enemies of freedom and our Constitutional form of government. They are, in my estimation, traitors singing a siren song.
