Duck Dynasty’s Phil Robertson visits Alabama and advocates teen brides

In a town infamous for it’s bigoted, inglorious racist history, and “dry” Oktoberfest, comes this not-so-unusual item.
The north-central Alabama town of Cullman, in Cullman county recently hosted the 2d Rock the South festival June 20 & 21.

Tweet of Duck Dynasty patriarch Phil Robertson’s latest stupid remark, made Saturday, 21 June 2014, in Cullman, Alabama at the “Rock the South” outdoor music festival.
Among the musical acts and luminaries present were Lynyrd Skynyrd, Little Big Town, Billy Currington, Charlie Daniels, Colt Ford, Sara Evans, and Phil Robertson of the teevee show Duck Dynasty.
The festival would have otherwise been unremarkable – save, perhaps – that it looked like a veritable vomit-fest at Wal-Mart, and Phil Robertson’s advocacy for teen brides & teen pregnancy.
Of course, he also encouraged those in attendance – the tobacco-spitting hayseed crowd described below – to vote, by saying, “Hey, Alabama, whatever you do, register to vote for this presidential election. Go vote for the House and the Senate, too. Vote this ungodly bunch out of Washington, D.C.”
There must be something to being barefoot and pregnant, I suppose.
Toll Ride!
