“Say ‘hello’ to Jesus for me.”

Several years ago a friend of mine was suffering from terminal cancer. He is now deceased.
At his request one afternoon, I visited with him and his wife and sang and played guitar for them.
I played several tunes, and even made up a song for him on the spot. In that song, I sang in part, “Say ‘hello’ to Jesus for me.” Later in conversation, I also made a point to ask him to “Say ‘hello’ to Jesus for me.”
They were both devout Christians, and very touched by my efforts.
I knew he wasn’t long for this Earth, and sure enough, not too long thereafter, he expired.
What I’d like to ask you, the reader, is this: Is there is any reason to believe that he has not done what I asked him to do for me, which was to “say ‘hello’ to Jesus for me”?
Oh, by the way – the alternate title of this entry is:
“The Communion of Saints.”
