Thank you for posting this photo.

I’m a Registered Nurse. While in school doing my clinical rotations, I witnessed an abortion. I wrote about it on my blog, in an entry entitled simply, “My Abortion Story“.

To provide a bit of background for your photo, I received notice of this in my e-mail. The message follows:

Fr Mackey’s monthly pro-life Rosary at Hsv abortion facility

To our pro-life friends,

This Saturday, July 10th, at 9 am pro-lifers from all around the area will gather in peaceful prayer vigil in front of the abortion facility at the corner of Madison & Lowe in downtown Huntsville. Father Alan Mackey, co-vicar for Life of the Diocese of Birmingham and pastor of St Jude’s in Scottsboro will lead us in a Rosary for life and a pro-life litany. Please make every effort to join us in this peaceful, but powerful, prayer vigil. It can be expected to last about half an hour with people coming from as far away as Scottsboro and the Florence area. It would be great if we could get a large turnout from parishes here in the Huntsville area.

There have been many turn arounds in recent months where babies and mothers have been saved from the trauma of abortion which proves the power of prayerful witness at this facility. Some of these have actually occurred while the Rosary service was being held.

Please come and invite your friends and family to join you.

God bless,

Jim & Phyllis Kaelin
